Originally from Jackson, Wyoming, Kahlan grew up learning how to dig people out of avalanches and survive bear encounters (spray downwards, wide sweeping motion). While Kahlan always wanted to act, living in a secluded town without arts meant she instead spent weekends freestyle skiing, jumping off questionable cliffs, or taking care of rescue horses. It wasn’t until she moved to NYC in 2020 to serve as an EMT during the COVID years and attend university that she was able to immerse herself in the arts and begin her career in acting.

Kahlan went on to attend the 2-year William Esper program at the encouragement of her friends and colleagues in the video game industry on the West Coast. Now, Kahlan has devoted her focus to acting bicoastally, traveling back and forth often. When not acting, she is often training for ballroom competitions or working with her clients as a certified pilates instructor.
