Originally from Jackson, Wyoming, Kahlan grew up learning how to dig people out of avalanches and survive bear encounters. While Kahlan always wanted to act, living in a secluded town without arts meant she instead spent weekends freestyle skiing or jumping off questionable cliffs or taking care of rescue horses. It wasn’t until she moved to NYC in 2020 to serve as an EMT during the COVID years that she was able to immerse herself in the arts and begin her career in acting.
